Where are we going today?

Cann Memorial Garden is a 10 acre estate located in the heart of Ponca City at the Junction of Highway 77 and Grand Avenue. The estate was given to the City of Ponca City by Elsie Cann Brown in memory of her parents. Lester Cann was an early pillar of the community serving over 25 years as a commissioner and City Manager. The estate was donated with the stipulation that it would be maintained as a memorial garden for use of the people of Ponca City and as a meeting place for the numerous Garden Clubs. A two story farm house built in 1908 has been refurbished with a beautiful shaded patio area with over 2,500 feet of brick walkways. There is also a formal garden containing several hundred varieties of annuals and perennials planted in unique color displays. There are over 70 species of trees that have been planted since 1980 and more to be added in the future.

We just listed two new properties on the North Shore with the Parrish Collection--and we are brand new to vacation rentals, investments, etc. They have been so helpful every step of the way, and worked very hard to coordinate our property escrow closures with incoming renters, getting keys, cleaning and fixing up properties, all while I was off island. They do special linens, soaps, and welcome baskets and are meticulous about cleaning. Always available by phone, with a convenient North Shore office location--I have heard great things from renters...Read More

While some of the homes through Parrish might look lovely, appearances can be deceiving. And if you raise an issue (or several!), beware-- the company will simply apologize and say there's nothing they can do. After all, if your bed is hard as a rock, ceiling fan squeaks, blinds don't close, windows let in rain and sprinkler water, air conditioning (which you were promised) is non-existent, doors are corroded and don't lock, and fixtures are broken, what can they possibly do? They're only the management company. Shame, shame, shame. At $7,000...Read More

No better place to stay on Kauai. We've stayed at Parrish Collection rentals several times and each time we couldn't be more pleased. This trip was quite rainy. You can't blame Parrish for the weather. We did however, have a lot of time to enjoy our condo. It was great. This time we stayed at Nihi Kai. It's a very short walk to the beach for watching turtles or bodysurfing. We could see whales playing in the distance from our balcony(bring binoculars) Awesome! The place was fully equipped. We cooked a lot of meals in the unit and never...Read More

We just returned from a weeklong stay on Kauai for Spring Break 2010. Found a great beachfront house in the Poipu area through Parrish Collection -- Hale Naia. The beach directly out front is rocky, but Baby Beach is a short stroll. My kids are 12 and 10, so Baby Beach did not appeal to them, but Poipu Beach Park and Brennecke Beach are a 7-minute drive with easy, free parking. They are great beaches. The activities desk with Parrish Collection scheduled all our activities -- Jack Harter helicopter tour (highly recommend for adults; my kids...Read More

I got a Kauai vacation rental from their Princeville Collection. The home was well cared for, and the service and attention to detail was top notch.

We cooked a lot of meals in the unit and never was there a time that we didn't have what we needed. It was clean, well decorated, and comfortable. By weeks end, it felt like home. The staff is super friendly and we got multiple calls checking on us to make sure we were well taken care of. I can't say enough good things about Parrish, their properties, or their hospitality. No doubt, each return trip will find us staying in one of their rentals.

The activities desk with Parrish Collection scheduled all our activities -- Jack Harter helicopter tour (highly recommend for adults; my kids got queasy); Waimea River kayaking and hiking to falls (10 stars from all of us); Plantation Luau (great show; food mediocre as all luas we have experienced); Ziplining in the trees (terrifying, exhilarating, amazing). Poipu area was sunny and warm 5 of our 7 days, while we heard reports of cloudy, cold weather on North Shore. Thank you Parrish Collection for a fabulous vacation! The Laret Family
