About this activity

Get back to nature for your next family day out! Cameron Park Lake is a great way to spend the day in the California sun - and it's not just swimming that it offers!

The swimming is the most popular reason to visit, and when you see the swim lagoon, you'll see why! This seasonal swimming area is always great fun for the kids, and parents can rest easy because it's lifeguarded. How great is that!

The water fun continues with fishing, as well as boat rentals so you can get out on the water and just spend the day relaxing to the sound of the gentle lapping of the waves.

Cameron Park Lake is also great for those active kids, because there are a host of other activities for them to enjoy. You can take on each other with some friendly competition with the four tennis courts, or climb and swing the day away in the playground.

For those who like to get out and enjoy nature, there is a walking and jogging trail you can take to, as well as picnic areas.

There is also plenty of park space itself, so family games are a great idea so make sure you bring the bats, balls and bikes!

There is also a community center pool where kids can enjoy some time keeping cool - after all, you are in California!

So grab those active kids, hats, and everything you need to have a fun day out in Cameron Park Lake - nature is calling!
