After driving 3.5 hours to go snow tubing we arrived and there is absolutely no parking control. Those directing traffic were yelling at driver's to include the manager (Bob). The drivers couldn't really go anywhere. When people exited their vehicle they were yelled at for trying to walk to the tunnel because they weren't doing it right. There is no flow to and from the park. We got there at 1130 am but couldn't buy tickets until the 1pm time frame so we waited in line for over an hour and didn't get to start sliding until after 130 pm. I talked...Read More

I liked the Camelback Resorts a lot! It was my first time and I really had fun. All the staff members were very nice and helpful. We had a snowboarding class for beginners and our Instructor Andrew Hampton was awesome. I definitely recommend this place for ski/snowboarding!

This review is specific to 12/27/2013. We've generally been a fan of Camelback as a decent place to ski close to home. However, the lines for tickets on 12/27 were over an hour long, completely disorganized, and generally a mess. Even after purchasing tickets online and showing up to claim them, we were told to stand in different lines (depending on who we asked) with little sign of movement n those lines. Folks who had been there for 45 minutes were still dozens of spots away from the front.

Anticipated that there might be lines, but...Read More

The slopes are okay, Although very icey and not supportive. Needs more powder. Extremely crowded when season starts.

Pretty nice mountain to ski on. Went on presidents day weekend. awesome deal if you ski after 3pm with half price lift tickets. ski rentals are reasonable at 28 a person.

Beware if you dont have 4 wheel drive, I would not drive with bad road conditions, they do drop some sand, but the road leading up to the parking lot was rough.

There is no flow to and from the park. We got there at 1130 am but couldn't buy tickets until the 1pm time frame so we waited in line for over an hour and didn't get to start sliding until after 130 pm. I talked with the manager while in line and he blamed the wait on his slow computers but they don't let you by tickets until 15 minutes before the start time. That doesn't work when more than 400 people are trying to purchase tickets. He wasn't apologetic and offered that I don't but a ticket instead. This park is inefficient and not well organized. We won't be coming back again. They should let the tickets expire 3 hours from when you purchase them not from the time you are given a voucher starry time or discount them if you can't enter the park on time because they're unable to handle the volume of people. When sliding down the hill all lanes (18+) go at the same time which slows everyone down. Almost every other water park or slide allows you to go after the slice is clear from three person that just went. Bob needs to either get better at management or find another job he can do that doesn't require him to manage resources.

Anticipated that there might be lines, but nothing like this. Gave up and went elsewhere.
