Who doesn't love to swim, and it's such an experience to enjoy some time in the water when it's straight in nature!
Breezy Picnic Grounds Waterslides let you swim in the crystal clear waters of the Whitins Reservoir. This family owned recreational area has been offering swimming fun for those families in Connecticut, Rhode Island and Massachusetts since all the way back in 1953 - that's a lot of family fun!
Breezy Picnic Grounds Waterslides are a great way for the family to spend a day together just enjoying each other, nature, and the water! It's a great place to enjoy a picnic, swim in the reservoir, or enjoy those fun water slides!
Your admission gets you unlimited slides too - that's what we like to hear! The area also has tables for you to enjoy, a snack bar, and even a games room.
There are also clean restrooms, as well as changing facilities.
So why don't you pack that picnic lunch, grab those swimmers, and certainly don't forget that sunscreen, because family fun, adventure, and lots of splashing awaits you at Breezy Picnic Grounds Water Slides!

When can we go?
9am - 5pm. Slides open 10am. Summer 6pm shut.
Early June to Labor Day
Make sure you reserve in advance, they they love having students there! Make sure you leave the grounds as clean as you find them.
Don't worry about going hungry! There is a concession stand, that is cash only. that sells pizza, hot dogs, chicken tenders, fries, fried dough, ice cream, slush, candy, chips, and drinks...phew!.
You can bring your own food and drinks to enjoy, and even your own grill! Cook up a storm!.
Any Top Tips?
Bring towels,beach chairs, lifejackets (if needed) swimmies, sand toys. You can also bring floats and sand toys too!.
Doing our bit
They have certified lifeguards on the beach and at the slides.
Need a little extra help?
Just assess the situation when you arrive and see if the slides are suitable for you. There is plenty of space for wheelchairs in the park area.
Can I get one of those?
Can you have free parking? Of course you can!.
Kids under 2 years aren't allowed on the slides, and kids 2 to 4 years have to be with a parent at all times.

This is a great place to bring your family. Very clean, the staff is nice, there's both shade and sun if you want. Plus there's water slides, how can you beat that! Can say enough about this place. There's no beach traffic or SHARKS!

Fun for the entire family. Grounds are very well maintained. The lake is very clean, you can see the bottom. The swimming area is all sand and there are no big rocks. Huge picnic area, and you are allowed to bring a grill.

Great place for family. Very clean water even in the end of summer. Standing in water up to shoulders and you see your feet!
