What a great place, we head there every time we come to Phoenix, its such a relaxing atmosphere and the walking tour is a wealth of information, I would recommend it for all ages. I bought some of the saguaro seeds and planted them at our place in Greece........

Just love going here...it is a place in Arizona that you feel like it takes you somewhere else! With the huge rose buses, the Lake, the herb garden, the Australia gardens and the kids garden there is something for everyone! You will so glad you went a bit out of the way to see all of this!

What a beautiful place. So peaceful. Easy hiking trails and killer views. If you want to photograph wild life and plants, this is the place to be. The staff there is very knowledgeable and friendly.

Very welcoming to pets. The rest areas with water fountains all have dog dishes available, and in most cases, the paths are wide enough to keep a well behaved dog from bothering other visitors.

There's plenty of shade, but if you aren't acclimated to Arizona heat, I would avoid visiting in the summer months. Bring water either way. Depending on your level of interest in the learning opportunities, you can expect your visit to last 2-4 hours or more.
