Where are we going today?
Explore the wonders of the world with a live animal zoo, the region's only public Planetarium and observatory, interactive science and technology exhibits, and more under one roof! Meet Meerkats, River Otters, and Kinkajous in the newly renovated Discovery Zoo, re-opened September 2010. Make a splash at the Water Properties Table in Science Central, view dynamic images of Earth and space in the Planetarium and in Science On a Sphere, and even encounter a Mummy in the Africa Room. One of the many fun family places to go if you're looking for things to do with kids in Ohio.

Educators who would like to plan a field trip to the Museum can book a variety of programs through the Education Department. .
Vending machines with an assortment of snacks and drinks. Visitors are welcome to pack lunches, but should plan to eat in the Food Chain (2nd floor)..
Any Top Tips?
While aprons are provided to keep young explorers dry at the Water Table, a dry shirt and/or pants may be needed! .

The Boonshoft Museum is fully accessible. A limited number of wheelchairs and strollers are available at Guest Services on a first come, first serve basis..

My family and I have continued to buy annual passes to the Boonshoft. great value, lots of activities for the kids to burn off energy, especially during those long winter months. They love the animals in the "zoo" portion as well.
