Where are we going today?

If you have ever wanted to visit a truly spectacular family RV resort - we may have just found it!

Bluewater Key RV Resort in Key West is a non-proift resort where ALL of the profit it put back into the amazing resort to make time there for families extra special!

Blackwater Key RV Resort is located just ten miles from the beautifully historic Key West, so you really are in paradise! It also means that you are close enough to still enjoy all the fun, food and adventure Key West offers, but far enough away to enjoy the paradise around you!

The sites are privately-owned, so when the owners are away you are welcome to be their guests and enjoy the numerous RV spaces that are available! There aren't any tent sites and pop-up campers are not permitted.

Because the sites are privately owned, each site is different and unique! All of the sites are landscaped with beautiful trees, tropical plants and shrubbery, and the owners put their own amenities on the sites - so when you call up to book you can see what is available that suits your family the best!

The sites all have sewer, electric, and water, with 30/50 camp, WIFI access and cable TV (not that you will be doing much television watching we're sure!)

Each site also has it's own Tiki hut and picnic table. How cool is that!? Any waterfront sites have decks and docks too, and some have patio furniture!

The area, however, is filled with things to do with kids who want to get out and explore! There is deep sea and backcountry fishing, as well as scuba diving, and pretty awesome sunsets!

An amazing campground for amazing families!

If you rent from the owners group you will find great sites, great people to deal with and good pricing without any sales representatives bothering you about purchasing a lot for sale. Great location about 10 miles from Key West and no over crowding in the park.

I loved everything the Bluewater has to offer but....
There are two different companies managing within the Bluewater Park, to say the least it was confusing. The staff for both companies were very kind and always willing to help, but never new who you were asking,.
then there is a problem with the owners of the individual sites that stayed permanently or semi permanent and those of us renting sites where the owners never came and were in it for the money. The owners would never NEVER speak to those little people that were renting. It was always...Read More

It's paradise! We have been coming to BWK for several years and are never disappointed with the amenities. It is by far the most beautiful and relaxing park we have ever stayed in, and we have stayed in many high-end resorts. Nothing else in the Key West area comes close. We can fish, swim, snorkel, and go kayaking right from the dock on our site. The prices have increased a bit too much over the past couple of years, plus the "winter" season (most expensive), which used to end April 15, now extends to April 30. If gas prices go up again,...Read More

Although a bit pricey, this resort is awesome. Pull in waterfront sites with great view, dock and private cabana. If you want to stay in the winter, you must reserve a year in advance. Just a short drive to Key West, but seems like a hundred miles away.

then there is a problem with the owners of the individual sites that stayed permanently or semi permanent and those of us renting sites where the owners never came and were in it for the money. The owners would never NEVER speak to those little people that were renting. It was always uncomfortable. We had spoke to some of those other renters and they felt the same way, there was tension. The owners did not want renters allowed.
So, our site was wonderful, peaceful, and roomy. The pool was always nice, the grounds were kept, but the owners were snobs. Go for the beauty but dont expect to make new friends unless you become an owner.

If gas prices go up again, it soon will be priced out of our reach, especially when we are retired, but we will probably vacation there again in 2012.
