Bluedorn Science Imaginarium Waterloo
Where are we going today?
Described as a 'playground for the imagination', this interactive science center provides fun hands-on exhibits that demonstrate how science affects everyday life. The Imaginarium is built on the belief that science can be fun and exciting. We provide opportunities for families, schoolchildren and teachers to learn and experiment with physics, light, sound, momentum and other scientific concepts.
Science demos every Saturday and some Tuesdays include Kitchen Science, Snakes Alive, Combustion, Super Cold, Creepy Crawlies and Charge It Up.

Midweek ignore the parking signs and go with your gut and park closer.
A few sign posts directing you to the entrance would be nice.
I'm comparing this to the children's museum in Coralville, and yes it is smaller with a lot less exhibits.
There are a lot of big "display" type exhibits which offer little interaction.
There are a lot of snakes.
The kids (3 and 5) liked it. The 3 year old daughter was quickly bored. My 5 year old son found it more interesting and was happy building robots.
I think older kids would find it more interesting.
