Active kids get ready to use up all of that energy, because each year the Blue Valley Recreation Complex hosts an amazing array of programs and sporting opportunities for youth and adult baseball / softball players from local and regional areas!

From March to October you can enjoy league and tournament games as they fill the complex. Not a fan of baseball or softball? Doesn't matter!

Blue Valley Recreation Complex also offer opportunities to play other sports such as dodgeball, kickball, basketball, volleyball, golf, tennis, fencing, martial arts, and even ice skating!

Adapted and integrated leisure activities are also provided for those individuals with disabilities too, including not only the above sports but swimming, cheerleading, exercise, dances, cooking, gymnastics and much more!

Don't miss experiencing fun activities for everyone in the family!

Blue Valley Recreation host special events annually throughout the year including Family Fall Festival Daddy/Daughter Date Night (we love this!), or Fishing Derby Touch-a-Truck Bowl-a-Thon or it might be Mom and Son Night Out Pitch that you want to take one!

There are also enrichment classes encompass cultural/performing arts, social and life skills, technology, and language arts.

Great for those active kids, so let's get playing!

Blue Valley Recreation FAQ’s

The Activity Center has snack and drink vending machines.

The Recreation Complex has eight concession stands.

In nearly every case, registration is required for people to use the facilities. Most classes and activities are held over a period of time, in sessions—such as swimming, dance, and gymnastics lessons, sports leagues, etc. Registration is needed for one-time classes and special events as well.

Contracted instructors teach classes with gentle encouragement and positive reinforcement. Many classes foster hands-on learning and the development of cooperative social and analytical skills. Sport coaches adhere to principles of fairness and good sportsmanship.

For healthy eaters, granola bars, nuts, pretzels, and bottled water are available.

All facilities are wheelchair accessible. Adapted and integrated leisure activities are also provided for those individuals with disabilities.

Open Gym and Open Swim is offered to walk-in guests at specific times and days. Otherwise, the Activity Center is busy with numerous classes.
