The Blank Park Zoo is a wild adventure that takes place in Does Moines Iowa. The Blank Park Zoo is a safe fun place to go on train rides, enjoy animals,go on a camel ride, have snack and learn about all different kinds of animals from around the world. I have been to this gigantic structure before only once on the annual Musco (where my dad works) family picnic (event happens every year). It has a bunch of adorable animals inside this structure.(when we went here there was a goofy monkey I didn't get what was so funny. Then I saw what was so funny...Read More

The Blank Park Zoo is small, but cute. This zoo has some of my favorite animals. It is easy to navigate and there is are no long walks to each animal. There is an area where you can walk on an open path through an exhibit with wallabies and emus. They have a giraffe feeding and many enrichment programs that are fun for kids and adults. The exhibits are well made and all have great viewing areas. They are always improving and adding new animals. There is a train ride and a camel ride for the kids. All around a great zoo. Well worth the money and...Read More

Awesome time at the zoo. Just wish there was a little bit more order. Could barely experience one animal over the other, before countless people would try to push through. Though that aside, the entire place is a class act. Defiantly planning a second visit soon!

I adore animals any day of the week, and this zoo definitely had them. My only complaints would be the small size of the park, and that when I visited ALL of the large animal attractions were closed. If you plan to go, call ahead to make sure there isn't any construction or anything. I think they should have lowered the prices for days where main attractions were closed.

I liked the area where there were several large birds walking around with you (emus, peacocks), and also the petting zoo/camel rides.
