Any Top Tips?

Best times during hot weather are early morning and evening. Not a "kiddie maze"! Bi-level with 4 towers, 4 bridges, & 16 sets of stairs..

Need a little extra help?

MAZE is not wheelchair or buggy friendly due to stairs for overhead towers & bridges, & "pea gravel" floor for drainage.

Can I get one of those?

Specialty MAZE shirts, large collection of MAZE books, puzzles, etc.

Alright, I admit it, I cheated, otherwise I never would have gotten out! Great stop on our roadtrip to the black hills. The maze is cuntructed of wooden privacy fencing and is in good upkeep and the paths are clean. You can't see over the fences but the bottoms are about 2 feet off the ground so you won't feel to claustrophobic. You can't see over the fences but the bottoms are about 2 feet off the ground so you won't feel to claustrophobic. On hot days there is a cooling station in a centrally located break area within the maze. Kids love this stuff but you should know it takes about an hour and a half to complete. It is not as easy as you might think and we had fun running into each other and taunting those of us who were on the wrong side of a fence.

There are four towers that you have to go to to get a stamp of a president's face for your Mount Rushmore card. You have to find your way through the maze, over bridges and through pathways that cross under the towers and bridges to get to the towers.

There are red emergency exit doors all around the perimeter of the maze that lead directly back to the gift shop if you don't think you can find your way out.
