Where are we going today?

If you want a family friendly RV Park with so much more than just full hook up sites, then you might want to check out Bighorn Park!

Not only that, if you don't have an RV - don't worry! They have cabins, motel rooms, and bunkhouses, as well as tent sites too!

The real log cabins each have 2 bedrooms and are great for the family, or perhaps you might like the real log cabin motel rooms! The bunkhouses are perfect for a maximum of 4 people, and for those who like to rough it a little more, or you can try the classic way of camping - and take a tent!

They have 3 tent sites that border the Arkansas River, so get in quick! If you love fly fishing, or rafting and kayaking - the sites are just for you. You can rent fire rings and watch the stars out with the sounds of nature!

Bighorn Park have both on-site and nearby activities too, so those kids will be entertained for your whole visit!

On-site you can enjoy the swimming pool or playground, or take out inflatables on the river. There are sports like volleyball to keep those active kids exhausted too!

You can visit a nearby company and enjoy tours on the Arkansas River, from white-water rafting to mild float tours, or you can enjoy sunset trail rides in the mountains on horseback! There are hot springs in Salida, or you can get out into nature with mountain biking, hiking and climbing too!

The nearby winter time sports include skiing, snowboarding, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, and snowmobiling

Phew - we're exhausted just thinking about it!

I highly recommend this park. Plenty of space for your RV. The owners are awesome people. We have a 42ft. and were very comfortable here. The Wi-Fi was good too. Hopefully we'll be staying here 3 mos. next year. Good phone service with Verizon.
