Where are we going today?

If you want a host of water fun to cool down on those hot Indiana summer days, then you might want to head on over to Big Splash Adventure! After all - it's in the name!

With 40,000 sq feet of water activities, from those junior buccaneers to the bravest of water lovers, there is something for everyone!

Little buccaneers - are you excited to hear about your Splish Splash Pool? This area is specially designed for those little ones, as the maximum depth is 9 inches. The shipwreck slide gives them kiddie sized thrills, and with tree bouncers, swings, and slides.

Arr me harties - it's Scallywag Scuttle next, where you can take on this body slide that is entirely enclosed. With twists and turns along the way, make sure you get a big SPLASH at the end!

If you have the thirst for thrills, Silver Beard's Revenge is next on your list, where you are thrust into a large bowl, and your inner tube will take you on a spiralling journey towards the center! Good luck!

For those who want a slightly more relaxed experience at Big Splash Adventure, Lost River allows you to make your way through the mysterious surroundings to try and find that lost treasure. Kids can learn all about the story of Uncle Lee Wally and his band of merry men. Could the treasure be in the skull cave? There's only one way to find out!

Parents - Big Splash Adventure has you in mind too! Palm Cove is adults only, with a relaxing hot tub. You're welcome!

Swimming areas, slides, kiddie fun and so much more is waiting at Big Splash Adventure! Remember what we said - it's all in the name! SPLASH!

Overall it was an enjoyable stay. The room was not large but had enough room for the 5 of us and was clean which is very important. The water park itself was not as busy as you would think even being on a weekend. It is not as big as some but was enough for our 14, 12 and 10 year olds to enjoy for hours at a time. Most of the lifeguards where attentive, even saw one jump in to rescue a child that was struggling after coming out of one of the tubes. However one seemed to have better things to do and along with his extremely dark sunglasses could...Read More

We booked our reservation on Expedia. When we showed up, they stated they did not have our reservation on file and claimed Expedia did not email them the reservation. It was a busy weekend and there were no available rooms in any other hotel in the area. We were 4 hours away from home with a 1 and 3 year old. They did not help us at all with alternative places to stay. We ended up staying at a motel on the side of the road with leaves in the bed and I'm pretty sure a drug dealer next door. It was a nightmare! Then, when we contacted Expedia,...Read More

I went with my 7 year old and we had a fantastic time. We got to check in early, had a nice room near the water park, enjoyed the extras that came with the package and felt it was a great value. We can't wait to go back. I should add that my son has Autism and it was very suitable for him. And the ladies in the restaurant were kind enough to let me take food from the breakfast buffet back to the room for him.

This was the WORST experience I've ever had in terms of customer service ANYWHERE. I wasn't a huge fan prior to this, but my 5 year old son seemed to enjoy it so my family and I would visit this park a few times a year. We called in advance for availability and was told there was plenty of room. We drove two hours only to find out that two of the main water slides were not working. We questioned why we were not told this when we called and they had no answer. We were not offered a discount and not even given an apology. I would even go as far as...Read More

However one seemed to have better things to do and along with his extremely dark sunglasses could not possibly see anything. It was an overcast day and no sun the whole weekend. Restaurants are average however they served a buffet on Saturday night and that is all you could get, was not really worth the $14 price per plate. There are other things to do in the area so even getting tired of water is no problem as you can find something to do. The cost is much lower than many indoor waterparks and is worth the price overall. We are already making plans to go back next summer.

We questioned why we were not told this when we called and they had no answer. We were not offered a discount and not even given an apology. I would even go as far as to say the staff were rude. We decided to buy a day pass for my husband and son and not stay the night to avoid a total disappointment for my 5 year old. This cost just over 41 dollars. I took my son into the water park where I was going to sit and read while they played only to be told I needed to pay another $20 to be in park. I explained that I did not plan to swim (I didn't even have a swimsuit on!) but the woman insisted on me paying. She did give me a refund but was very rude. We even called the General Manager be cause we had such a bad experience and she did nothing. So we wasted an entire day and tank of gas and had a TERRIBLE experience. Their customer service is awful and I will never, ever go back.
