Indoor climbing is a great way for kids to stay active, and really improve their strength and coordination. The walls are made up of different color routes, each one coded to it's difficulty level. You can start on the easiest, and when you have mastered that one, just move up to the next one - it's great for the confidence when you can see yourself improving!
For the younger kids, or those who just want to practice their technique, bouldering is a great option. These routes are low to the padded floor, and don't require rope. You can also do them on your own!
If there are kids that haven't climbed much before, Bend Rock Gym offers classes and introductions to the gear so you can be sure that you are in the safest hands when you climb.
