Where are we going today?

The Bay Beach Wildlife Sanctuary is a beautiful 700-acre urban wildlife refuge. We are one of the largest Wildlife Rehabilitation Sites in Wisconsin. We are also Green Bay's largest city park. The Sanctuary is open to the public year 'round with no admission fee. We have something for everyone!"

The Sanctuary had lots of different types of both caged and wild animals. The trails were in good shape. It is a very beautiful place to go. There are even tons of almost tame geese. The only downside is since there are lots of geese, there is lots of goose poop and it is everywhere.

This place has a lot of wildlife for your viewing pleasure in a non-urban setting.

WOW! We're from suburban Chicago and have an abundance of nice nature preserves, wildlife rehabilitation centers and free zoos nearby, but this place really knocked our socks off! Miles of trails, an impressive array of raptors and mammals, and a great educational center. My wife, my 10 year old daughter, and my infant son all loved the place! And it was all FREE!
