Where are we going today?

Kids, do you think it's possible to have TOO much fun? Well, we'd like to challenge you if you are heading to Asheville's Fun Depot for your next family day out!

You see, Asheville's Fun Depot is filled with amazing activities for the whole family, all within 65,000 sq ft of space!

Are you excited to hear what you can enjoy there? Well then, let's go!

Why don't we start with laser tag? This is a great activity for active kids as they immerse themselves in a video game environment and try and out smart, and out shoot their opponents! Don't worry parents, it's completely safe as it uses a laser light rather than anything physical. Phew!

Hole in one next? You can certainly rise up to the challenge on the indoor mini golf course, where you can play with the whole family as you enjoy that friendly competition, of course!

If you are feeling the need for speed, Asheville's Fun Depot has not one, but TWO karting tracks! One indoors, and one outdoors, and you can push that pedal to the floor as you navigate those twists and turns to come out the champion. Do you think you have what it takes?

For those little ones in the family, Adventureland is perfect for them! Designed for kids under 9 years and under 52", they can have kiddie sized fun in their own time, away from the bigger kids.

The older kids will be too buys with the X-Factor 4D Theater!

Did we mention there are bumper cas too, AND a huge arcade, AND a climbing wall?

So - do you think it is possible to have TOO much fun? There is only one way to find out...to Asheville!

I went to Fun Depot as part of my Birthday, thinking won't this be nice? It almost ruined my whole day. The first warning sign, the 10 commandments posted at the entry way. They may have the right to display quotes or items of their religion in their establishment, but it's just bad business sense. Because for anyone who ISN'T part of your religion it can alienate or make visitors uncomfortable. As it did for us.
The Mini-Golf, which I had previously been looking forward to I ended up avoiding because each stop post had a scripture verse.

Everything is expensive and designed for money suck - not my idea of fun for anyone. This place is basically an expensive arcade. Typical prices have been 3.75 per kids ride - unless you want to visit the playground - that was like 10 - for a playground....

Friendly staff. Lots of fun activities and games at a decent price. the rock wall and outdoor go karts are the most fun. The $30 play card gives you access to the entire park until it's used up plus 3 extra activities for free. I just wish Asheville had a water park.

Many of the games were broken, either ones we played or some we heard people commenting on as we walked by. Close to 1/3 of the games weren't properly maintained. Including one of the simulator attractions, which don't count as part of the "activities" if you buy a playcard.
They had the stingiest prize ticket rewards I have EVER seen. After using up our combined 60 dollars worth playcards we had about 180 tickets, an oversized pix stick costs 150 tickets in the prize shop.

We will not be going back as this place is nothing but a rip off.
