Where are we going today?
We just LOVE camping at Family Days Out - getting out into nature, and breathing in that beautiful fresh air!
Apple Island RV Park is a full service campground located in the super pretty Champlain Islands. They have full hook up sites, as well as fun rustic cabins and cottages.
Relax after a long day in the heated pool or very fun hot rub. There is even the State Park beach just down the road!
Kids will just love building a campfire under the stars and joining in with the activities the RV park hold throughout the year.
If you fancy getting out onto the water, how about renting a pontoon boat from their Marina and cruise around the lake! If you prefer land they have a golf course there ready for you!
If you want to spend some time cooking as a family you can enjoy their kitchen, or hang out in their library and computer center. (but hopefully not too much time on the computer when you have the whole world outside waiting to be played in!)
What is there to do?
Kids will love candy bar bingo, making tie dye shirts and having fun in the pool. They can even go trick or treating in August! Families can enjoy the campfires (don’t forget the S’mores!) or watch a movie under the stars on the big screen!
How much does it cost?
- Full hook up $46 - $50. See site for cabin rentals. / day
- Full hook up $290 - $315 . See site for cabin rentals. / week

I have not stayed here, so take that with a grain of salt.
I however encourage you to check out their ignorant BSL-based policy on pets. Pit bulls, german shepherds, huskies, rotties, dobies, and nearly every breed over 40lbs that they feel "could be aggressive" are banned.
In VT of all places.
I ALMOST wasted my money here (irony: pup was staying home b/c of the heat) before I saw that. Cannot support this place.

Should be 5* but dirty restrooms and showers lets it down. Very nice location, good size pitches with picnic tables and fire rings. Lake view, nice pool and hot tub. Library with free use computer, exercise room!. Fast, free WiFi - Very nice site.
