About this activity

Did you know that the American Computer Museum is actually the world's oldest continually operating museum that is dedicated to the history of the grand Information Age!

During your time exploring the museum, you can delve into 800 years of rare books, as well as manuscripts, historic newspapers, and even maps & prints!

Also at the American Computer Museum are Bibles on display, which includes the Gutenberg Bible Leaf, all of which are on loan from the American Bible Society in New York City.

The exhibits within the American Computer Museum span 4,000 years of human history, from the original cuneiform tablets (kids, do you know what that is?) to the very first personal computers (parents, you remember these!), and exhibits that cover topics such as artificial intelligence, Quantum Computing (sounds fancy!), the Space Race, Cracking the Enigma Code, and so much more!

So much to learn and more at the American Computer Museum!
