Adult time slots have been awful since I started playing adult hockey in Chicago in 1971. Never stopped me though. Try Puckhead hockey.

Maybe it was because we came skating on Sunday and it was very crowded, but it was one of the worst ice skating experiences I've had. I'm extremely disappointed at the staff who were on ice for not paying attention to anything that was happening. It was completely chaotic and miserable, kids were weaving in and out excessively to the point of making others fall over and at one point a little girl fell and slammed her head on the ice and the staff was too busy chatting away to their friends or standing in the corner. I'm glad that I have first aid...Read More

This review is for the pro shop there located at the ice den. Specifically Tommy and Brian. My son plays for the Jr. Coyotes travel program at the ice den. My son had his gear stolen right when the season started. All of it was new gear that we had just gotten, as he is of course a growing boy. My son was devastated!! His Coach Tony Radke, our Team mom Trish Parker got me in touch with Tommy and Brian at the pro shop. I set up a time to come in and re purchase all of his gear. An expense I was no looking forward to. To my surprise and delight, they...Read More

Love the Ice Den. My boys, who are 4 and 7, love going skating. It is a great way for them to stay active in the hot AZ summers. My wife recently took them on a Tuesday and after the skate session she discovered that kids eat free at the onsite restaurant - 18 Degrees. Bonus! Overall just a great place to take the family for fun day.

Great Ice Rink, clean well run. D loves Hockey Tournaments here! Parking has improved but still tight at times.

It was completely chaotic and miserable, kids were weaving in and out excessively to the point of making others fall over and at one point a little girl fell and slammed her head on the ice and the staff was too busy chatting away to their friends or standing in the corner. I'm glad that I have first aid training and was at least able to help her because obviously the others weren't concerned about it. I actually work at another ice rink in Arizona and I know that if our staff acted this way there would be consequences, especially if we are not paying attention to the safety of our patrons. For the price of skating and for how chaotic it was I can be assured that I am NEVER going back there... Lord knows if I end up with an major injury at the Ice Den I know that their staff won't be of any help.

To my surprise and delight, they already had the travel team gear set aside of him ready to go. After that, Tommy helped size my son back up with all of his gear. It was like we had our own personal assistant the whole time. Customer service at that level is tough to find now days. Because of their “over the top” assistance which was GREATLY appreciated, and the customer service that is un matched in the valley, The pro shop at the ICE Den will have ALL of my business from now on. I live a lot closer to other rinks, but the drive is with the effort, because when you show up, these guys make you feel like you are the only person they need to take care of at that time.. the pro shop is just an extension of the overall great service the whole establishment has. As a result, my son will be a Jr. Coyote for years to come. Thanks again Tommy, Tony, Trish and Brian for rescuing my sons hockey season. You guys are amazing.
