The animals are all very well cared for and you can see the love and devotion that those that work and volunteer at the zoo put into it. Children and Adults alike will LOVE the experience they have. Its not overly priced making it an affordable must see and do while your in the area. I did step in an ant bed while on my excursion so just be mindful of where your walking (its no different than your home in this aspect). I just wish I would have been able to have the up close encounter that they offer from time to time with the new arrivals (babies)....Read More

I was skeptical when we pulled up to the entrance because its not much to look at, but it turned out to be a nice little stop on our vacation. It does not compare to the larger zoos in larger cities, but for $11 its reasonably priced. The zoo has a very casual feel. Less impressive habitats but fun for the kiddos.

Very small zoo, grass needed cutting and looks like the animals cages were being cleaned often. Did see some workers cleaning in a couple areas, so maybe we just went on a bad day. It really didn't have that WOW factor I was hoping my kids was experience.
