Where are we going today?

If you are looking for a quiet, and relaxing family trip away to a beautiful campground in lovely Michigan, then 6 Lakes Campground might just be for you.

Located on Boot Lake in Hillside, 6 Lakes Campground is popular for families staying all summer, or just the weekend. It's on one of the six-connected all sports lakes, which means you can spend those sunny days taking out a boat and trying to catch some amazing fish.  You can try Boot Lake or head out to the other lakes, including Cain, Bass, Second, Baw Beese Lakes and First.

The campsite has 105 Full Hook-up and Water/Electric Sites, and is just 2 miles from the Hillsdale County Fairgrounds! Which means....fairground fun!

6 Lakes have everything you could want for a really enjoyable stay. From clean restrooms and hot showers, a boat ramp and docks (so feel free to bring your own boat!), to boat rentals so don't let not having your own boat stop you!

And yes, there is free WiFi! (But try not to use it too much - there is a whole world of nature to explore!)  Did you know that 6 Lakes Campground is only 5 minutes from 2,500 acres of State Game Area, Country Trails, museums, and The Cascades? There is even a beach about 5 minutes - so it really has everything you want for that nature filled time away!

So pack those bags, and get ready for some Michigan fun! Sometimes the best places are right on your doorstep.

Bathrooms in poor shape. we had to get electric fixed when we got there. Maintenance was quick tho. Down at docks junk boats piled in weeds. we were told no launching of wave runners in lake. We did as requested but no one else did. People just pulled in off the street to launch there boats and wave runners. Just all around junky and poorly managed camp...Read More

I just arrived and was not impressed at all... the staff is friendly though.
They have an old junk car sitting behind the office, the weeds are high, someone took the fire pit on the site we wanted and dumped it near a tree, the bathrooms need a major rehaul. If someone would just add some $ and tlc.. This place might work. It should be full mid summer and it is not and no new arrivals in site. Sad!

Very nice campground friendly staff and VERY clean bathrooms with key code door for extra comfort. Only thing I would have changed is to move it farther away from the road (but its in a very convenient location and we chose this campground because of it).

Better camp grounds just down the road. Looks like they have never put any money into this place for over 40 years. Avoid at all cost.
