Where are we going today?

This spectacular 22-hectare (55-acre) garden in the heart of Vancouver has matured into a botanical garden of international stature since opening to the public in 1975. The mild Vancouver climate allows the cultivation of an outstanding plant collection which is a delight any time of the year.

If you go to the festival of lights go on a weekday. The Van Dusen doesn't have proper staff to deal with the amount of people on the weekends. Extremely rude and disorganized front staff at the gate. It was a chaos trying to get in. But, once you get in its wonderful! I would go back on a weekday. The garden is so well done with the lights.

My husband and I went to visit VanDusen Gardens today. We thoroughly enjoyed the Rhododendron walk and the Camelias. It was our first time there. It was a beautiful warm day, quiet and peaceful. Awesome just listening to the birds in the trees. The folks at VanDusen Gardens are doing a wonderful job. Beautiful!

Sumptuous salads. If you love interesting cuisine and enjoy a nice salad with a glass of wine then put Shaughnessy on your restaurants to visit list. The staff are friendly, there is a lovely view of the gardens (no matter the weather) and you can linger and lounge in the bright airy space which feels like a perpetual spring.

Beautiful gardens with lots of color and dozens of different tree types. We had a great couple hours walking through here.

Wandered around and filled up my sd card with pictures. The flowering trees are in bloom and the weather isn't too hot or cold atm. To walk around and see everything will took me an afternoon so the $10 was reasonable. For photo buffs and first dates see the magical splendor of cherry blossoms in season. I can stare at the gorgeous pink and white petals all afternoon.
