Where are we going today?
It's that time again, when the leaves start to turn golden and we know that Fall is about to hit us! What better way to celebrate than at The Scarecrow Forest!
This family fun experience in Manitoba is great for the whole family! Most families visit for between 2 to 4 hours, so it's a great day out for all!
The Scarecrow Forest is just 45 minutes SW of Winnipeg, and 7 minutes NE of Steinbach. They are also FILLED with fun activities - are you excited to hear what?
How about playing on the fun play structure, or playing with animals in the petting zoo? The Scarecrow Forest has a rope maze, which is fun for those active kids to challenge them, and a corn trail to excite them! From corn boxes, and sand boxes, and even fun scarecrow scenes, they can enjoy the fun of harvest!
The forest also have extra attractions which are always popular with the kids! There are pony rides for those animal lovers, paintball targets for those keen eyes, duck races, train rides, and even a zip line!
It's fall, so of course you would want to paint a pumpkin! After all...it's Halloween soon, better get prepared!
And naturally the forest is filled with gift hops, stores, tasty foods and great produce. They can also celebrate those little birthdays at the forest too, so why not bring friends and all have a great day together!

For schools they give a talk on different crops that are grown in Manitoba and they give a talk on various farm animals that are in their petting farm! Groups can visit from May with reservations .
They have a snack shack that serves some tasty foods like hot dogs, hamburgers, cheeseburgers, pork burgers, farmer sausage burger, taco in a bag, baked potatoes, chips, hot and cold drinks, pumpkin pie, pumpkin cookies, pumpkin gingersnaps, chocolate bars, candy bags, and popcorn! Yum yum!.

Allow up to 4 hours for a full day's visit, and don't forget your camera!.

At the Gift Shop and Pumpkin Store they have a host of produce and treats, as well as carving pumpkings! .
The admission includes most of the attractions, but some have additional costs such as the zip line, train ride and pony rides.
