Where are we going today?

The Kootenay Gallery of Art, History and Science, located in Castlegar, is a public art gallery that serves the entire West Kootenay Region.

Because of the changing nature of the displays we cannot tell you quite what to expect, but you may be assured that it will be well presented and made accessible to school age children.

Outside you may enjoy Butterfly, Xeriscape and habitat restoration buildings.

It is one of the 28 original exhibition centres built in the 1970s so that rural people could enjoy the great works of art, sourced regionally, nationally and internationally as well as provide a professional venue for regional artists to show and sell their work.
