The Scenic Caves Nature Adventures is ALL about giving those active and adventurous families a great excuse to get out into the great outdoors, explore, be challenged, and just have fun! There are SO many things for the family at Scenic Caves Nature Adventure, so really the biggest decision is what to do first!
Why don't we start underground, where the Scenic Caves await! Here, you can enjoy self-guided walks along the trails and through these caves and caverns that are millions of years old!
There is even a historic village site, where the Deer Tribe of the Petun First Nations people once called home. History, geology AND adventure for the kids!
Then there is the Suspension Bridge, where you can journey 420ft across the canopy. It's also the LONGEST suspension bridge in Southern Ontario, which is pretty impressive! On a clear day you can see 10,000 sq km - amazing!
The zip line is for those adrenaline junkies in the family, where you can enjoy the journey with a friend, as the two zip lines fun side by side. Here, at 2550ft long, it's the country's LONGEST twin zip line, and with a vertical drop of 287 ft, it's certainly not for the faint hearted!
For those younger kiddies in the family, Scenic Caves Nature Adventures has more gentle activities too. They can try their luck at finding their fortune at the Gemstone Mining, where they use a panning tray to discover those gems, and the hole in one is waiting at mini golf! Perched on a mountain, it's an amazing setting for this family activity!
With train rides on Rocky, and a children's playground, as well as a beautiful fish pond, there really is SO much adventure waiting to be had with Scenic Caves Nature Adventure!
So what are you waiting for!
