About this activity

Saskatchewan Science Centre is an educational facility, on a mission of igniting scientific curiosity for visitors of all ages. Focusing on enagaging through interactive displays, the science centre is one of the largest family tourist attractions, with 5 million visitors since opening in 1989.

The Science Centres first attraction, the Powerhouse of Discovery, features hands-on science exhibits and live stage shows and demonstrations. In April of 1991 the Saskatchewan Science Centre opened its second attraction, the Kramer IMAX Theatre, build partially on the frame of the 1954 annex. The Technical Services and Research division of SaskPower uses a small portion of the old powerhouse and the northern half of the renovated annex.

Learn more about space travel, light, gravity sport and nature with the family or in groups! The signature exhibit Wild! is a fun, interative exhibit with a serious message. You'll learn more about conservation and the environment with thoughtful steps that you can do today to preserve and look after our ecosystems.

The markerspace activities are located on the third floor and have some hands on activities and experimenting for visitors to do! Each day there are new exciting and planned activities so make sure you drop in and say hello and check them out.
