Choo Choo - that must be the sound of all the locomotives at the Saskatchewan Railway Museum welcoming you to it's great and impressive collection of railway memorabilia!

This Saskatoon museum is filled, indoor and outdoor, with incredible history and memorabilia. There are authentic railway buildings, and railcars too!

Regardless if you love history, or the locomotives, the museum will have something for you. In fact, you have SEVEN acres to explore!

The interior of this seasonal museum is filled with fascinating articles to read, information to absorb and artifacts to get right up close to. Who knew there was so much history in the railroad!

Outdoors is a popular place for kids, where they can actually see first hand some incredible railcars right in front of their very eyes! History really does come to life!

The collection of railway buildings will make you feel like you are actually living back in the early 1900s! When you stand there, imagine the sounds and smells of all the hustle and bustle as the Canadian Pacific trains came tolling through. You can even explore the tool sheds that provided space for washrooms, offices and lunchrooms.

Living history is all around you at the Saskatchewan Railway Museum! A great day out to CHOOse in Saskatoon!

They have lovingly restored all that you see at the museum, to ensure the story can keep going for many family days out in the future!

It never hurts to take some energy bars or healthy snacks with you in your bag

Keep an eye out for special events they might hold! Tours can be booked out of hours too if you need

They do indeed have a gift shop! You can pick up your tickets there, as well as great merchandise and souvenirs like lapel pins, keychains and Thomas the Tank Engine merch!

They offer discounts for groups of 10 or more, so why don't you bring the students down to SEE history as they learn about i!
