Where are we going today?

One of the best places to be on those hot sunny summer days that Osoyoos is so famous for! We offer our guests grassy tent sites, shaded RV sites , all at very reasonable rates.

If I could give it less of a rating I honestly would. In a comical phone call to book a tent site for some adults, we were told.... and I quote exactly..."Why would I book for adults..._Adults_ don't go to waterslides. Go to Nk'MIP. Goodbye"

I have honestly never been so shocked to hear something like that. Although I haven't stayed at NK'MIP, I'm guessing they aren't as shockingly rude, and judgemental.

August 2013 - I am a refugee of the Slocan Valley jet fuel spill. I am not particularly wealthy and drive an old truck that I nevertheless keep clean and freshly painted. My son is of gypsy decent although, I must add with at least a small note of sarcasm, we do have a home at a fixed address with real windows and doors. Escaping the toxic fumes that enveloped our home we met family at this resort. Imagine my surprise when, later that night I was verbally abused and physically threatened by the resort's owner, who called us gypsies and demanded...Read More

Our stay in Osoyoos RV and waterslides was great! Both the owners - Nadia and Tony - did much to accommodate our needs.
The owners did their best to make sure that the area is clean and that all RV residents respected others inhabiting the immediate area.
We would like to state that the owners wished for a smooth and nice stay for all of us. We would recommended this place to all families with children who want a safe and fun time!

This is where we experienced the rudest customer service during our time in Osoyoos. Firstly, the owners told us that the waterslides were open but when my family got there they told us that they wouldn't run the slides for just a few kids. That it wasn't "going to pay for running the pumps." We were told to see if we could round up some more people to make it worth it for them to open. When we asked how many people it would take, they wouldn't give us a number. There we were standing in our swim trunks waiting like fools. Finally we gave up and...Read More

This place is a joke. The staff are rude and unaccommodating. I'm a fair and reasonable person but these people are completely unreasonable. I've never met a man so rude. I don't know how he stays in business. The camp sites are ridiculously small, have no privacy and plagued with mosquitoes. The slides are equivalent to a slip and slide in your own yard. And you have to buy passes to the water park in order to camp there. What a joke. Not worth the price.
Do yourself and your family a favor and go somewhere else.

My son is of gypsy decent although, I must add with at least a small note of sarcasm, we do have a home at a fixed address with real windows and doors. Escaping the toxic fumes that enveloped our home we met family at this resort. Imagine my surprise when, later that night I was verbally abused and physically threatened by the resort's owner, who called us gypsies and demanded that I drive my truck out of there after drinking a bottle of wine with my sister and her boyfriend's family. We had been looking for my son's old pyjamas, which he can't sleep without, and of course my son had opened and closed two doors in the process when a man identifying himself as the owner came flying out of the nearby office, made his racist accusation, asked what kind of "man" I was, implied I was an unfit parent because of the comfortable bed I had made my son, and demanded I leave. I refused to leave as I'd been drinking, but in case you think we made a huge racket that night I want you to know that in the morning i went about the campsite to apologize and not one person had been kept up or bothered by us. I don't know what kind of Canada the reader wants, but I imagine a tolerant one where people aren't judged by the value of their RV, treated disrespectfully when in the midst of a crisis or held hostage to racial disparagement.

Since my wife was pregnant she waited for us in the grassy area. A few people were seen eating at the picnic tables so she setup some snacks for the kids at the picnic tables while waiting. The owner came over to scold her for sitting in the paid area (apparently she should pay $5 for using it) and for bringing food from outside on the tables. There's no signs around the picnic tables regarding this. He could have handled it much better, especially since we'd collectively spent hundreds of $$ staying there and using the park. He didn't care, because it's a tourist town. Avoid it - there's a bunch of other things you can do with the kids in town.
