Where are we going today?

The Northern Frontier Visitor Centre features exhibits on Yellowknife social and natural history, locally relevant mining and geology, plus aboriginal culture, presented in modern and comprehensive displays.

A vital funciton of the centre is to offer help, advice and brochures to assist in planning your family visit to the area.

Local options include boating, hiking, hunting, fishing, camping and dog sledding in season, plus it's purportedly one of the best locations in the world to see the aurora.

There are also guided and self guided tours available of the historic waterfront.
