From skipwrecks to lighthouses and ecosystems, there's lots to explore and collections to discover for all ages. The museum aims to connect you with the maritime heritage of the great lakes and there's lots of programs covering topics from the history to shipbuilding and the environment.
Head out on one of the guided tours and discover the story of the kingston dry dock. The knowledgeable guide will walk you back in time as you explore the space, people who worked there and the ships they build. They last for around 45 minutes and it's a great way to learn all about the history of the place. If you prefer, you always explore on your own and at your own pace too.
There are lots of events all year round. Including, nautical nights which is their winter series that feature locals and regional historians and splash day which is a day of activities for children to sail, play and learn together!
