Where are we going today?

La Ronde is a thrilling Six Flags-owned amusement park with over 40 rides and dozens of free shows. Little kids will enjoy Au Pas de Rimbaumbelle to the right of the entrance, where there's a tot-sized coaster and a butterfly bus that rotates up in the air. The thrills and chills are limitless for the older set, including the twisting Cobra and the mammoth Goliath, one of the highest and fastest coasters in North America.

I haven't been there for a few years and yesterday my wife and I decided to go to enjoy the Halloween experience they advertise. Well what they don't tell you is, after paying close to 65 dollars to get in a half empty park, it's another 20 dollars if you want to go to the haunted houses. That they don't tell you until you've already paid. Of course if you only wanted to go to one haunted house you could pay 8 dollars instead. Not to mention the fact that the security there are like the Gestapo, I have a chain attached to my wallet so I don't loose...Read More

4 stars - Only due to a lack of cleaning, there were a lot of cobwebs in many locations as you wait for the rides. Otherwise it'd of been a 5 stars.

The rides were all fun and the queues, even on labor day were actually pretty quick. "Ednor, l'attaque" took 10 minutes to get on.

The kids area is really well planned and managed. It impressed me so much, that even though I don't have kids, I knew that if they can take care of children the way they did, as an adult I would be taken care of. So we bought season passes for 2015.

    Final notes, it's...Read More

Having a Six Flags season pass from Great America, I couldn't resist trying to get in here with my pass. No problems getting in getting awesome parking. Many roller coasters, but really only 2 of note. Of those two, I forget the names, but the most intense looking ones, for sure. Good time on a rainy day.

Even after I told them ill roll it up and keep it in my pocket they refused. I've been to multiple amusement parks and this has never been an issue. Bottom line, save the hundreds of dollars it will cost you and go to Canada's Wonderland instead.

Final notes, it's expensive... it's an amusement park, just like going to the movies, it'll be expensive. So if people want to complain, then they can, but it's not an argument anymore in the world of entertainment.
