About this activity

Jasper National Park is the largest national park in the Canadian Rockies with 10,878 square km of mountain wilderness. Jasper is the wildest of the mountain parks, and contains a superb backcountry trail system as well as the world famous Columbia Icefields, one of the only Icefields in the world accessible by road.

There's lots to do for the adventurers, including lots of backcountry locations, alpine day hikes, mountain biking and paddling. If you want a more relaxed visit, there enjoy scenic drives, picnic and do a spot of wildlife viewing!

In Winter, enjoy the snow-covered mountain beachs and forests. Go for a winter walk across the many trails, cross-country ski or explore on foot with the snowshoeing experience.

With lots to do all year round including swimming, kit surfing, mountain climbing, stargazing and canoeing, the park has everything you need to have an action-packed adventure.
