Where are we going today?

47,000 sq ft of indoor space, with high ceiling and complete clear span over the racetrack, houses the GPK racing amusement centre. GPK creates an overall fun racing experience.
From the moment you arrive, you will be made to feel as though you are participating in a real race, with a drivers VIP pass, or a spectator ticket. Drivers will be given a racing balaclava to wear under the helmets provided. Although the balaclavas are required for hygienic purposes, it is an example of the uniqueness of the GPK experience. To complete the thrill, racing uniforms and gloves are available for rental or purchase, and every driver will be presented with a comprehensive diagnostic of the race results.

BEFORE YOU READ, NOTE THE GENERIC COPY AND PASTE RESPONSE FROM THE OWNER BELOW ME, ADDRESSING ONLY THE POSITIVE REVIEWS. THAT IS THIS PLACE IN A NUTSHELL. The only respectable staff member is the bald man, which I'm sure if you've seen him, you'd recognize. The rest are, excuse me, narcissistic, pompous, bloated, haughty, conceited. Basically every word that could describe them, i will use. I'd been told the place was empty, drove 20km to find that it was far from that. I was refused service once, because we smelled like marijuana (Which i understand...Read More

As suggested in other reviews I called ahead and was informed there was an event going on that evening. The young lady suggested I come after 8pm. I arrived around 8:50pm and was informed I would need to wait about 40minutes for a slot. The time flew by, especially while I was munching on a nice Quesadilla.

The karts were quick, and in pretty good condition. Competition was good too, but I wouldn't recommend it for anyone who is crash prone. This is because they prioritize safety and fair play, and won't tolerate any ramming or...Read More

Would give it a 0, the minute you walk into this place you would regret it, this place looks disgusting and very old. The workers are very sassy and mean. Make sure you are over the age of 16, otherwise you would need a parent to sign it. And a legal guardian will do no good for some reason. If you are thinking of booking ths place for a part or an event beware of extreme says.

Me and my brother arrived at around 6 and the person at the front desk said that we would have to wait 50 minutes to race because they had an event, however we where able to look past the time difficulties and we made a membership at the place. Once we made the membership the lady at the front desk said that I had to have a parent sign a form so I can race because I'm not 18 ( going to be 18 in 4 months) now I've been on their website which is a disaster to navigate through and no where did it say anything about having to have parental consent....Read More

Looks like a nice place, well kept, not smelly. Has a modern feel to it.

The racing is crappy though. Bad track design, low grip levels, slow karts, and races plagued by being electronically slowed down when crashes occur.

Even if you are significantly faster than other drivers, there is maybe 1-2 passing places at most. Even then you feel the need to force a gap. Good luck forcing a gap though because they are pretty strict about no bumping, even when unintentional. A very slow, but smart defensive driver, can literally ruin your race....Read More

I return, i am asked about it immediately, in an extremely condescending way i might add. "i see theres a mark here for marijuana? you want to tell me about that?" (

Once you sign up the system works well. You get your position, each lap time and a bunch of useful data on a printout after every race. Very useful for noting where you need to improve. There's even a nifty points system for gaining rewards.

All in all I had a really good time. Would definitely bring along some fellow car buffs!

I've been to other go cart places and I've never had this issue, I also have my G2 drivers license and I had a 25 year old sibling with me so the fact that I couldn't go cart lacked logic. When I asked to take the consent form home which had all my information, they said it was part of their property which is pretty stupid if you ask me. The manager was rude and talk down to us. DO NOT GO HERE.

Much more fun in gas powered karts at other tracks that are much faster and better reward driver skill.
