Where are we going today?
Situated 100 km northwest of Moose Jaw on the Qu'Appelle arm of 225-km long Lake Diefenbaker, Douglas park represents a wonderland of water-based recreational opportunities including swimming, sailing, boating, skiing, windsurfing and angling - the lake is home to 27 species of fish. Take a short hike inland on a trail that winds around patches of juniper and cacti, however, and you'll arrive in a desert-like landscape of active sand dunes that looks and feels nothing like Saskatchewan.
