Coldwater Canadiana Heritage Museum is an officially desginated historic site and you'll get to experience voices from the past! Awaken your senses, through touch, smell, taste and here and explore the story of rural life from 1830.
The Woodrow Homestead was built in the 1840s, and you'll get the opportunity to browse through the collection of artifacts from the Coldwater area dating from 1830 to 1950s. There's 6.5 acres to explore, with the grounds suitable for a picnic and a relax in the warm weather! Don't forget to check out the heritage gardens and explore the river trail too. If you're feeling thirsty, you enjoy a rest with a Devon Tea!
Outside you'll be able to enjoy the view from the various granite benches along the garden trail of relax in the gazebo with a view of the green! It's the perfect place to rest on a hot summers day.
They offer self-guided tours of the out buildings and grounds, but also offer a guided tour of the Woodrow Homestead. You can pre-book your tour by getting in touch with them if you'd prefer!
