Carousel Theatre is considered one of Canada's leading theatre companies for young people and has been operating for more than 35 years. The company operates a small arts complex on Granville Island and offers a mainstage season at the Waterfront Theatre, an elementary school touring program and a teen Shakespeare program in summer, as well as a year-round theatre school for children aged three to 17 years.
