Where are we going today?

Capilano Salmon Hatchery was built below Cleveland Dam in order to rear and release the diminishing stock of both Coho Salmon and Steelhead Trout. The hatchery is an ideal environment for visitors to learn about the lifecycle of salmon. Over 400,000 visitors annually, both local and international, visit the public viewing area at the Capilano Hatchery.

Brought the family here today to watch the Salmon jump up the Ladders. Such strong brave fish. Found a Geocache under a Mushroom. Love the Trails across the Canyon. .

A great fun thing to do with the kids. Nice outdoors area, really neat when the fish are spawning, watching them through glass - crammed like sardines waiting to go upstream.
