Candle Lake Provincial Park is located less than an hour northeast of Prince Albert. The park area is dominated by the large lake, a clean and clear body of water featuring good-sized campgrounds on the east and west side, and plenty of great fishing, boating and water-skiing in between. Beaches? Candle Lake boasts about 7 km of them!
The area is well know for the crystal clear water, sandy beaches and the scenix surrounding forests. There's lots of outdoor activities on offer too. The beach is shallow, making it great for kids and families with small children.
If you like a spot of fishing, then theyres walleye, perch, burbot and qhitefish in the park's lakes. You can also enjoy hikes on the boardwalks and the sand dunes too! The park is right next to the resort village, so theres lots of amenities nearby to ensure your trip is a comfortable one!
