Canadian Fossil Discovery Centre houses the largest collection of marine vertebrates in Canada and has lef the mseum to a contnuous need for expansion year after year! You can head out on an organised guided tour or simply explore on your own, this place is a great day out for the whole family and any fossil enthusiasts!

The museum guided tours will lead you through the gallery as you learn about Manitoba's geological past. The tour guides offer a glimpse into the Western Interior Seaway describing the sea creatures that would have roamed the sea. The fossil dig adventure tour is for children, familyies and any other enthusiast as you learn how to dig for fossils. 

The centre offers week-long day camps throughout the summer, where children can learn about fossils, play games, go on scavenger hunts and much more! Their research is conducted onsite in the collections room which contains over 10,000 fossil specimens and houses a fossil mold and replication station!
