Canadian Bushplane Heritage Centre is located in beautiful downtown Sault Ste. Marie, this waterfront hangar offers more than 25,000 square feet of interactive, hands-on aviation and forest fire displays.

Take a look inside the historic hangar and enjoy a firsthand adventure with over two dozen resorted bushplans and aircrafts! Explore the history of aviation, the importance of the bushplane and the development of forest fire fighting.

You'll be able to board, touch and explore the aircrafts. Take a seat in the cockpit and put yourself into the shoes of a pilot! Learn from the volunteers about aircraft restoration and ask as many questions as you want!

The Childrens Centre also offers lots of learning activities too, including video games and an aerodynamics display.
