The Canada Games Centre is marginally more expensive than other gyms around the city but the membership is well worth the money. The extensive facilities are very well maintained and have great hours. The group fitness instructors are fantastic and lead excellent classes.

The staff are always friendly, helpful, and surprisingly cheerful at 5:30 AM. The entire centre opens at 5:30 AM during the week which is great if you feel like playing badminton, going for a run, or going for a swim before work or school.

The centre is also open late with evening...Read More

Shame on you Canada Games Centre management on imposing a dress code. This is a public facility and anything that is acceptable in the general public and not contravening laws should be acceptable. Private clubs and other facilities may be different, though, the reality is that they don't tend to enforce dress codes much any more either.
