Wow, have not been here in years and this place is more beautiful than I remembered. The Rangers here are doing an excellent job upgrading and maintaining the park. My only wish is that we had a state park in Eastern NC to camp and ride horses. We loved hiking here and will be return.

Very nice view from a clean park. Haven't been swimming just because the Neuse isn't the cleanest river around.

Nice and quiet place. Loved all the scenic views and nature. The lake or access to other activities weren't open, but looked like alot of fun!
