We loved our weekend trip to this resort. The hotel was very clean and nicely decorated. The rooms were beautiful and comfortable. We spent a lot of time exploring the area and was able to golf on site. The beachfront was amazing. We can't wait to go back! Loved it!

excellent stay during their blues festival. Best of both worlds with incredible, affordable entertainment then easy relaxation and comfort in the hotel. Also spent some time at the beach and in the salt water pool. Very nice experience,

We had bad weather and as there was nothing to do there we left and came home. Had dinner there, mussels were great but steak was not so great. Staff are excellent but we weren't told repairs were underway, hot tub was out of service and the bench seats in the restaurant were torn out. The repairs to the lobby and restaurant were done in a few days but the initial booking in day was disappointing.Screen door in our studio condo was ripped all across bottom with an attempt to duct tape repair but not actually repaired. Things just looked shabby....Read More

I have been staying at Calabogie Peaks Resort 3 to 4 times per year since 2010. Impeccably clean, friendly staff and a great restaurant keep me coming back. The ski hill is family friendly, and the apres Ski features live music with some great bands. In the summer music festivals and a great beach are the main attraction. The fall is also spectacular as the leaves change colour. I would highly recommend

Magical place. For just a bit more of a drive from Toronto it is so much more relaxing. Family loves skiing, fishing, canoeing, hiking, the wilderness, the beach.... When Kapil is cooking I think the food is the best between Ottawa and Toronto. Ottawa Valley staff are a refreshing change from urbanites.

Things just looked shabby. Flower beds were beautiful but things like duct tape on the arms of the lobby chairs were sad looking. We paid for two nights got one free but never stayed. For $180 a night I expected more. Staff in dining went out of their way to serve and coffee was the best but overall experience was disappointing. We should have checked this place out before booking too late to get a refund.
