It’s great here. Perfect place to bring a child and spend about an hour looking at all the birds, flowers and tropical plants. It can be explored in 20 minutes if you want, we take longer as I tend to lecture my family on the many different avian and floral species.

It’s alright. Definitely go if you’re a bird enthusiast or if you like warm, humid biomes. However, it’s incredibly small for an attraction and spending 30 minutes browsing and taking pictures inside was already stretching it. Realistically only a 20 minute attraction.

It’s like a jungle in there. I loved it. Great to see birds in a simulated version of their habitat instead of cages. Warning to those with frizz-prone hair – your hair will probably get ruined. Mine did. But it was well worth it, despite having to restraighten it afterwards!

The Bloedel Conservatory is AMAZING!! The lush tropical atmosphere and free flying birds are like a mini vacation to a garden oasis rainforest without the expense of a plane ticket! The parrots are chatty and fun – you can get very close for great photos. And it’s wheelchair accessible (they even have a wheelchair to borrow if you need one!). The Conservatory is a calm eden getaway – right in the centre of Vancouver! Highly recommend it for visitors and locals alike!

Very nice couple hours spent at the Conservatory. Its not huge but if you take your time through it, its very nice. There are a lot of birds flying around and they are pretty comfortable with people. You can get pretty close to some. Took my kids (9 and 3 years old) and they both enjoyed it. There is also a lot to see outside the conservatory, lots of walk ways, nice gardens and some open field for the kids to run around in.
