Where are we going today?

The Barnum House was built between 1817 and 1819 by Eliakim Barnum, a United Empire Loyalist originally from Vermont. The house, which stands just outside of Grafton, Ontario, in Alnwick/Haldimand Township, is the earliest example of Neoclassical architecture in Canada. Barnum House was the first house museum to open in Ontario, restored and operated by the Architectural Conservancy of Ontario. It is currently owned and operated by the Ontario Heritage Trust.

Food was boring and not particularly good, waitress was rude, and for the prices, it is not worth it.

We went there for a business lunch, and two people at the table asked for burgers, medium rare- but both burgers were served well done. The waitress passed by the table half way through the meal and asked,"How is everything? Good? Great," and walked away without even really stopping. I called her back and told her that if she was going to ask how the food was, she should let us answer. She seemed annoyed, but this time didn't just walk away....Read More

Food took over 45 minutes to come out, they brought over dirty glasses with lip stick stains, it was horrible experience all the way around. Never again.

Shawn and Marissa made my week in Bridgeport so awesome with their delightful company, awesome atmosphere, and a root beer brisket that I had three times! Thanks!

The waitress passed by the table half way through the meal and asked,"How is everything? Good? Great," and walked away without even really stopping. I called her back and told her that if she was going to ask how the food was, she should let us answer. She seemed annoyed, but this time didn't just walk away. I then explained that both my burger and my friend's burger were over cooked when we had specifically asked (three times when making the order) for the burgers to be cooked medium rare. She scoffed, and walked away. Not even an explanation or an apology.
