Where are we going today?

No doubt about it, Australia has some incredible wildlife. Some colourful, some wonderful. Some weird, some cute, and it's Australia - so some definitely scary!

The Wildlife Habitat is one of the country's best wildlife experiences that you can enjoy with the whole family. Kids will love really getting up close to the huge range of flora and fauna, and learning all about these incredible things we have in this country of ours.

The Rainforest Wildlife Habitat Wildlife Sanctuary is a very sweet and eye opening exhibit which is part of their Wildlife Rescue program. We love that! Here, they make sure that the injured, orphaned and sick animals and well looked after. They take small groups through the centre, and give you a fascinating look into behind the scenes of this amazing place! These tours depart daily at 1:30pm.

The Wildlife Habitat is a completely immersive experience, with an open and interactive environment for both families and animals to mingle and make friends in their spacious and natural setting. You can wander along their elevated boardwalks, and check out all the animals as they roam free (and the animals may even come and check you out!)

They have free guided tours throughout the day, which is great for kids to learn about the behaviours of the animals, their interaction, and also the role they play on our planet.

You can enjoy breakfast with the birds, lunch with the Lorikeets - there is a grassland habitat to explore with kangaroos and wallabies, and wetland habitats with cassowaries and koalas!

So much wildlife for the kids to enjoy, it really will give you a full day out for the family.

Not only that, kids aged between 4 and 12 years old can join their school holiday Kids' Club provides close encounter experiences with Koalas, Crocodiles, Kangaroos, Cassowaries and various native birds. It is a fantastic learning and interactive adventure.

A true wildlife experience!

We had 'Lunch with the Lorikeets'. The buffet was extensive and locally sourced, and reasonable priced. The habitats were amazing - you truly felt like you were inside the environments, and all of the animals looked happy and well looked-after. The Cassowaries were magnificent, and getting within a couple of metres of a 4m saltwater crocodile was a highlight.

Being able to come back for free was really cool, so we could take the kids to see other presentations and croc feeding.
The breakfast was good, lots of bacon, sausages eggs, as well as fruit coffee tea.
Be sure to go on the included tours and presentations, its really good value !

We had breakfast with the birds. The buffet Breakfast was nice but really what made it was the atmosphere. A truly remarkable experience sitting there drinking my coffee with exotic birds roaming around your feet. It cost 50$ for breakfast and a wildlife tour. They have done a remarkable job trying to recreate nature's habit for the bird's and lizards. Well worth the money and a great couple of hours well spent.
