Are you ready to go bananas, perhaps go ape over grapes?
Welcome to Tropical Fruit World! This super fun day out is the home of the world's largest variety of tropical fruit.
But it's so much more than that!
First you have the very tasty Plantation Pavilions - and the entry for this is free! Here you can enjoy all their fresh tropical fruits and ice-creams, drinks and mouth-watering lunches. Parents, they even have their famous natural skincare and gourmet products. You know you want to!
The Plantation Pavilions is great in itself, but within the park there is so much more, so it would be a shame not to grab a Park Admission Ticket and enjoy all the other activities they have available!
Tropical Fruit World's plantation safaris take you out onto a fully guided tour of the farm by their fun tractor train. It will take you through more than 500 of the weird and wonderful fruit varieties that can be grown (we had no idea there were that many!). Fancy a boat ride? Of course you do! The wildlife riverboat cruise takes you through a waterway that is just teeming with wildlife! Feed the wild birds as they play all around you, and you might even spot a tortoise or a python! There is a sweet barnyard where kids can meet their very friendly sheep, donkeys, chickens, and even a Clydesdale horse, and even a little train ride where you can chug along together through the native eucalyptus forest!
This train circles the whole of Tropical Fruit World, and it also goes around a large lagoon covered with the blazing colours of a mass of waterlilies! Make sure you have your camera!
See - so much more than fruit!
If that wasn't enough, they also have several acres with cubby houses, a flying fox ride, mini golf, and just a ton of places for kids to laugh and play!
Make sure you get your 5 a day....of FUN!
Tropical Fruit World are at 29 Duranbah Rd in Duranbah
If you are travelling to Tropical Fruit World from the Gold Coast, head south on the Pacific Hwy, and once in NSW keep an eye out for the sign on the left. It's a giant avocado - you can't miss it! From Byron Bay, head north on the Pacific Hwy and take the first exit after the big illuminated tunnel dug into the hillside. Then just follow the signs.
