The Powerhouse Motorcycle Museum in Tamworth offers a vintage vehicle experience with over 50 examples of motorcycles from the 1950s to 1980s, sympathetically restored to concourse condition. There are some limited editions of current models too, but largely the collection focuses on Ducati, Triumph, Honda, Velocette, Laverda and a rare limited edition F4 MV Agusta Series ORO.
It's great for kids just to look but as an educational venture. There's lots of information boards too that will help guide you around, as well as staff to answer your questions too! The dsplay of motorycles vary, from classics for the older generations to remember, to more recent limited edition models, so for any bike enthusiast, you'll be able to take in the different models and craftmanship.
There's also an on site souvenir shop to pick yourself up a motorcycle gift to remember your day out by.
You'll find the museum on Armidale Road, just off the New England Highway in Tamworth!
