Where are we going today?
Alice Springs isn't all tumbleweeds, cacti, camels, and dry arid heat. Nope! If your family want to get out of the hot Northern Territories sun for a little bit, then head to Alice Springs Dust Bowl!
Don't let the name fool you (it's not dusty at all!). It's a modern, family fun bowling alley for all levels and experiences of bowlers. Little kids won't have to worry as they have gutter guards to help with them their strikes (and adults who have never bowled before too!), and of course experts will love the fact they not only have the social games, but leagues and competitions that you can participate in! Go on, show off those skills!
All of the leagues are handicapped so all levels of experiences will be able to take part - because it's all about FUN! They want to ensure everyone can have a great time.
Want to try something a little bit different? Alice Springs Dust Bowl has Cosmic Bowling! No, you don't have to go and play in space (although how cool would that be!?). Enjoy the party music, and the flashing lights and bowl in a completely different environment experience! Whilst cosmic bowling is on Friday and Saturday nights, they have special kids cosmic bowling on weekend afternoons! Just for them!
Celebrating a birthday? Alice Springs Dust Bowl offer birthday party options for tiny tots right through to teenagers, so you can bring your friends and all enjoy bowling together! You'll be bowled over! (ha!)
See you at the Dust Bowl!

Nice Hotel, clean but it's in need of some modernisation now, especially in the hallways and rooms/bathrooms, room furniture, updating and general repainting needed. friendly staff and I generally had a nice stay in 2014 and 13.

My partner and I took advantage of a group on offer and had two nights at the California Hotel. We were given a warm welcome and the room was perfect. We went for the evening meal which was very, very good (3 Courses) The staff were very courteous, helpful and the atmosphere with all the Christmas decorations was terrific!! Will be going again next year. If you have a problem you should ask at the desk and I am sure any problems will sorted.

Love this hotel in Newquay, the views are amazing and the rooms really nice, was surprised by the high quality of food as its only £18 for 3 courses, really good and the staff are lovely, enjoyed the bowling alley and the pool too, would highly reccomend and I didnt have high expectations due to previous reviews but was very pleasently surprised!
