Where are we going today?

As a child, you enjoy fairytales at bedtime of princesses and castles, surrounded by wild moats with turrets and towers that reach the sky.

Did you ever think you would be able to visit a real one on the Sunshine Coast!? You can!

Fairytales do come true at Sunshine Castle Bli Bli, which captures the imagination of the very young right up to those grandparents! It really is a standout attraction in this area, and offers excitement, enchantment and education as you pass through its doors.

Resembling the style of the classic Norman castles, along with the medieval additions, the castle comes complete with a moat, turrets, towers and even a drawbridge!

The perfect family day out, 90% is under cover so perfect rain, hail or shine.

Enjoy the castle at your own pace on a self-guided walking tour where you can enjoy the medieval displays and other exhibitions. Wander into the grand Great Hall, or squalor in shame in the dark and dingy dungeon. What do you think people did to find their fate in such a dark and horrid place?

From the lows to the highs, kids will even love making their way to the top of the 24m look out tower to check out the stunning views!

As well as the displays, you can explore the Dancing Dolls, Miniature City, Fairytale Dioramas, the Toy and Doll Museum and even a Model Train Railway!

If kids fancy taking on a challenge, they can participate in the Treasure Hunt where they are able to choose a free treat from the King's treasure if (and only if!) the successfully complete the hunt.  Are you ready for the challenge?

Sunshine Castle Bli Bli is not just unique for the country but the Southern Hemisphere!

Very authentic Castle - bar all the kiddy stuff - loved it more than I thought I would.
Want to stay for a German Beer on the Cafe Terrace next time. Great view - well worth the 14 dollars spent - would love even more info (there is a lot already) on what you see. I did get lost but it added to the flair ..."all roads lead to Rome or the Sunshine Castle"

We were sooo surprised to find a Castle this good hidden away in our own backyard. The kids could simply not tame their imaginations and were on cloud ten the whole time. My husband got called 'my lord.. " by one of the lovely serving wenches - with a "wench in training badge" and was chuffed.

Horrifying. What's with the inflatable dinosaurs? Is it something to do with that movie West World?

For $20 something that was soo reasonable and yummy.....
A very ecclectic mix of dolls that personally weren't my cup of tes but the 3 ladies in the museum part with us were totally flashed. I did find a doll my mother got from her grandmother as a hand me down which was funny and weird. I liked the magical atmosphere of the Courtyard the best - with moat and drawbridge, barrels and fireplace.
